2027 Pickup Locations & Shipping
We’re expanding convenient drop-off options across the region so more of you can avoid shipping entirely. Exact times and parking-lot locations will be confirmed by email closer to each date. We aim for large, low-traffic lots (park-and-rides, big-box store lots, etc.).
Drop-Off Locations
We will email confirmed dates, times, and exact parking-lot addresses for each site. Please watch your inbox and respond promptly so we can plan numbers. Bring the confirmation email or order number, a vehicle that can safely transport the bees, and any straps or covers you prefer for the ride home.
River Falls, WI - Bee Pickup
The OG of our pickups. We have been holding this in the Park and Ride on the North end of town. Directions and details in emails.
Chicago, IL - Bee Pickup
New for 2027- We will have selected the location for the pickup soon, and will email the location as we get closer.
Milwaukee, WI - Bee Pickup
New for 2027- We are planning on the northern side of Milwaukee and possibly a suburb of Milwaukee. Details soon to follow.
Marquette, MI - Bee Pickup
New for 2027- You asked, we are delivering. We picked Marquette due to its central location. More details as we get closer to pickup.
Rogers, MN - Bee Pickup
New for 2027- We selected Roders MN for our Western side of the Twin Cities, due to its convience of the freeway. Details coming soon.
Hibbing, MN - Bee Pickup
New if 2027- It's not Duluth, but it is the most convient for our customers in Northern MN. Details coming soon in order emails.
How Pickups Work

Order as usual and select your preferred drop-off city (or shipping if you are in MN/WI).

We email the confirmed date, time window, and exact parking-lot location 7–10 days prior (or sooner when known).

Arrive during the window with your order confirmation.

Quick hand-off — bees are ready to travel.

You are responsible for safe transport home from the drop-off point.
We choose locations that are easy to find, have plenty of space, and minimize traffic so the process stays quick and low-stress for the bees and for you.
Shipping Policy
We now ship only to Minnesota and Wisconsin.
After several years of shipping to MN, WI, IL, IA, ND, SD, MI, and IN, nearly every complaint we received came from shipping problems (delays, temperature swings, carrier handling, or delivery issues). Once a package leaves our hands, liability transfers to the carrier. Those failures are outside our control and are not Kinni Bees failures.
By limiting shipping to MN and WI we can usually keep transit to one day and reduce risk. For everyone else, we are adding multiple high-value drop-off locations so you can pick up healthy, unstressed bees without the variables of long-distance shipping.
Live bees are perishable. Shipping is never zero-risk. We package carefully, but we cannot control weather, carrier performance, or last-mile handling. If you need bees outside MN/WI, the drop-off locations below are the better option.

Email us at mike@kinnibees.com with your order number (if you have it). For shipping inquiries outside MN/WI we will point you to the nearest drop-off.
Note: All bees are inspected and healthy when they leave our care. Once picked up or accepted by the carrier, responsibility for transport conditions transfers to the customer or the shipping company. We recommend bringing a ventilated cover or screen for the ride home and keeping the bees out of direct sun and extreme temperatures.
